  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Import Metrics

Use these steps to import metrics using an .aft (Acumen metric library) file.

To import metrics:

  1. In the Navigation pane, under Settings, click Metrics.
  2. At the top of the Metrics view, click Import a Metric File.
  3. Select the .aft file that contains the metrics you want to import and click Open.
  4. On the Import Metrics File dialog box, do the following:
    1. Select the folders you want to import. Place a check next to each folder you want to import or select Folders in Import File to select or deselect all folders.
    2. Select an existing folder for the imported metrics, or click + New Folder to add a new folder.
      You can only import into one folder at a time. If you want the metrics to be in more than one folder in Touchstone, you must import again and select the other folder.
    3. Select Update existing variables if you want the import to add new variables as well as update any existing variables. If you do not want existing variables to be updated, make sure this option is not selected.
    4. Click Import to import the metrics into the selected folder.
